Best Web Design uses this super complex algorithm to select the new target city – a map and a dart. Using zip code, surface and public transportation maps, internet research, geographical and statistical data, and anecdotal information, we determine the web design agencies that have more than two “employees,” producing at least 50% web development work. This information is inserted to the website as the “all agency” list for the target city.
To approach this without bias, Grandpa-George has built a rubric of web standards. We take our newly minted list of agencies and run each website through the paces. With this ranked-list, a rotating, independent panel of judges from industry and the education sectors re-run the top ten to fifteen websites through the rubric, confirming the results. The five best websites for the city are presented here as the Best Web Design.
The final task is to notify all agencies in the target city that they have been added to the website and to send heartfelt congratulations to the five best.
